    Mastering room

The mastering room is an asymmetrical, acoustically insulated section that provides a colorless environment for mixing purposes. It is separated from the other sections by a double glass window. We use Mackie 864 Power monitors (80 Watts) for monitoring the mixes. The rest of the equipment includes:
          • Mackie 24 channel mixer
          • Roland VS2480 hard drive recorder, 24 tracks (16 tracks at once recording capabilities) with 4 full FX cards.
          • Roland QPS rack CD-RW burner.
          • Sansui flat LCD monitor
          • Seagate standalone external hard-drive for archiving purposes.

          Outboard gear:
        • DBX 266 XL compressors (2)
        • Drawmer MX30 compressor (1)
        • Eventide DSP 7600 Ultra-Harmonizer
        • RNC compressor (1)
        • Drawmer Front End preamp
        • Focusrite Voicemaster preamp
        • Behringer Virtualizer
        • Behringer Gates
        • Behringer UltraCurve Pro 8024
        • TC Electronic Finalizer Plus

Without a pretense at false modesty, the studio's capabilities are among the best on the planet. Period. No Pro-tools and funky plug-ins here, that merely emulate an original hard device, without really duplicating its sound. We have the best reverbs, echoes, and plates on the planet, we have the best microphones on the planet, we have a faithful 96 kHz recording station. All we need is music.
